The Board of Commissioners appoints the Veterans Service Officer to serve local veterans by acting as advocates and providing assistance to military veterans and their families. Some services offered are education assistance, pensions, GI loans, corrections of military records, discharge reviews, rehabilitation, medical & dental treatment, employment & unemployment, burial benefits, small business loans, and much more.
